Student Assistants at the Office of Student Life provide clerical and office support to the Staff and / or active leadership with events and other activities.

The Office of Student Life is located in College Hall Room 152 on the Toledo-area campus.

Essential Functions:

• General office duties include data entry, filing, scanning, copying, collating, stapling, sorting, organizing paperwork, and greeting guests.
• Assist with distributing posters, event promotions, and Stall Talks around campus.
• Computer skills, customer service.
• Event promotion, set-up, facilitation, and tear-down.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Organized, self-motivating, flexible, dependable, punctual.
• Communication: both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow instruction.
• Light physical work: the ability to lift approximately 20 pounds at a time or carry objects weighing approximately 10 pounds.

• Positive attitude. Personable, responsible, motivated.
• Consistency throughout the semester.

Education / Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Owens Community College Student eligible for Student Employment.

Related details for the position:

• $10.45 hourly wage, paid every other week.
• 8-16 working hours per week.
