Job Description

Sheba Foods, a leading provider of authentic African cuisine, is looking for a hardworking and dependable Loader/Unloader to join our logistics team. This position is essential in ensuring our products, from frozen meals to wholesale items, are handled with care and delivered to customers efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload delivery trucks with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all products are handled safely.
• Inspect items for damage or discrepancies during the loading/unloading process and report any issues immediately.
• Organize and secure products in trucks to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Assist with staging and organizing shipments for dispatch.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts, to move goods safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading/unloading areas.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification to operate warehouse equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
