About the Sound Engineer Position

Our team is seeking an experienced and innovative Sound Engineer to work on various projects. As a Sound Engineer, you'll be responsible for a wide variety of tasks ranging from operating technical equipment to editing and mixing audio clips.

In the Sound Engineer role, you'll need to have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the technical ability to get the job done in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal skills are also a must.

Sound Engineer Responsibilities 

• Set up, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot all sound equipment, including mixers, microphones, and equalizers
• Work closely with members of other teams, including video editors and camera operators
• Record, edit, and mix live and recorded audio
• Improve sound quality where needed
• Add sound effects where requested
• Create and maintain sound libraries
• Stay knowledgeable on advancements in the sound engineering field
• Build and maintain working relationships with artists and clients 

Sound Engineer Requirements

• [2+] years experience as a Sound Engineer
• BA in audio or sound engineering or similar field, preferred 
• Strong knowledge of recording, mixing, and sound editing software
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Superb attention to detail
• Experience working with microphones, mixing consoles, and other sound equipment
• Ability to work well under pressure
