Ingredients
- 500 gms ground chicken
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 bunch fresh coriander finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper powder
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (maida) or as needed
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
Method
Mix well chicken, onion, coriander, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Add mayonnaise and mix well. The mixture will be quite soft.
Take flour in a shallow bowl.
Drop large spoonfuls of the chicken mixture into the flour.
Roll to coat them completely and press gently to make round patties.
Heat a skillet on medium fame setting.
Shallow fry patties in the hot oil until golden brown and no longer pink in the center or approx 5 to 7 minutes per side.
Before serving poke a few holes with the fork to let the steam out as the inside will be burning hot due to mayonnaise.
Serve hot as a sandwich (as shown in the picture) or with ketchup or pickle.
