Ingredients

  • Ask the fruit seller to give you 4 Kerala bananas or bananas used for frying.
  • Oil to deep fry

Method

    Take the bananas and cover them with a thick towel and place it in the warmest part of your house till they are completely mushy and over ripe.
    Cut them into pieces.
    Deep fry them till brown.
    Remove the fry bananas and put them on a kitchen towel or tissue to soak up excess oil.
    Before serving take a fork and poke the fried hot bananas so that the steam can escape as the outside may be cooled sufficiently but the inside might still be burning hot.
    Serve plain as is or with creamy custard.
