Job Description

Assisting with the organization, implementation, and execution of clinical research for the Child Health Research Institute.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required Education:

Associate's degree or equivalent. (Will consider four years post high school education/related experience)

Required Experience:

2 years of experience related to healthcare, laboratory, or clinical research with patient-facing responsibilities. (Will consider four years post high school education/related experience)

Required Computer Applications:

Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook

Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Skill in interviewing patients and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and under competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of varying educational and experiential backgrounds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and attentiveness to detail skills.

Preferred Education:

Relevant coursework/specialized training

Preferred Experience:

Clinical research and lab experience in an academic institution setting.

Preferred Other Computer Applications:

REDCap, EPIC

Preferred Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
