Ingredients
- 250 gm ladies finger
- 1 large onion(medium cut)
- 1 1/2 medium size tomatoes( medium cut )
- 2 tbsp of curd
- 1 tsp of sugar
- 1tsp of red chilli powder
- 1 tsp of garam masala
- 1/2 tsp of jeera
- 1/2 tsp of haldi
- 1/2 tsp of sambhar masala (optional)
- 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp of green chilli paste (optional)
- Few curry leaves
- One or two pieces of kokum
- Salt as per taste
Method
- Step 110 mins
- Step 210 mins
- Step 310 mins
Take a flat pan add 1 tbsp of oil add the cut ladies finger n saute till soft if required cover the pan. I did the same.
Take a nonstick pan add 3 table spoons of oil on medium flame add kokum, curry leaves n jeera saute for few seconds add onions till medium light brown then add tomatoes cover for sometime let it cook till it becomes soft n mushy.
Add all the masala as mention. Again saute till oil separate (if needed add a little water)
Once the masala are done 'remove the pan from flame then add curd with sugar and mix well.
Add the soft ladies finger in the masala pan mix it n cover for 2 mins.
Garnish with corriander or grated coconut
Have with hot thepalas or chappatis.
