  • 250 gm ladies finger
  • 1 large onion(medium cut)
  • 1 1/2 medium size tomatoes( medium cut )
  • 2 tbsp of curd
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1tsp of red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp of garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp of jeera
  • 1/2 tsp of haldi
  • 1/2 tsp of sambhar masala (optional)
  • 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp of green chilli paste (optional)
  • Few curry leaves
  • One or two pieces of kokum
  • Salt as per taste

Method

  • Step 1
    10 mins
  • Take a flat pan add 1 tbsp of oil add the cut ladies finger n saute till soft if required cover the pan. I did the same.
  • Step 2
    10 mins
  • Take a nonstick  pan add 3 table spoons of oil on medium flame add kokum, curry leaves n jeera saute for few seconds add onions till medium light brown then add tomatoes cover for sometime let it cook till it becomes soft n mushy.
    Add all the masala as mention. Again saute till oil separate (if needed add a little water)
  • Step 3
    10 mins
  • Once the masala are done 'remove the pan from flame then add curd with sugar and mix well.
    Add the soft ladies finger in the masala pan mix it n cover for 2 mins.
    Garnish with corriander or grated coconut
    Have with hot thepalas or chappatis.
