Amritsari Chicken Masala
Chicken made in unique amritsari gravy- Chicken pieces - with or without bone - 500 grams
- ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- Curd 2 tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Vinegar 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- onions finely chopped 2
- Butter 2 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder 1 tsp
- Ginger finely chopped 1 tsp
- Water 1/2 cup
- Salt as per taste
- Green chillies 2
- Tomatoes 6
- Sugar 1/2 tsp
- Butter 3 tsp
- Cream 3 tsp

Take chicken in a bowl. Now add in the finely chopped onion, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, vinegar, salt as per taste, ginger and garlic paste and curd. Mix all the ingredients and keep for marination for 2 hours.
Heat the pan. Once its hot, add butter. Add some red chilli powder and saute for a min.
Now add cumin powder, coriander powder, and chopped ginger to it and saute well.
Add some water to the pan and mix everything well.
Add some salt as per taste, green chillies, tomatoes and sugar. Mix everything up.
Now take some butter in another pan and coat the pan evenly with butter. Add the marinated chicken into this pan and stir fry for 3 mins.
Cover the pan and let the chicken cook.
Open the pan and if the chicken has turned golden brown and the butter has subsided add the gravy to the chicken and mix.
Cover this again and let it cook for 5 mins.
Open and add some cream to the chicken.
Server this dish hot topped with butter, some coriander leaves and slit green chillies.
