This is a staple in our house. If nothing is interesting in the house this premade masala comes to our rescue always in making something interesting out of it just to pep the breakfast or snacks or lunch or dinner experience. So decided to make Akuri cheese omelette for breakfast today on 26/07/2020 instead of the regular cheese eggs toast.

  • Ingredients for omelette
  • Cheese singles or cheese spread or mozzarella cheese
  • Akuri Masala
  • Gram Flour (Chana Atta)
  • Eggs (room temperature and whisked)
  • A tiny pinch of salt (if needed) (akuri masala already has salt in it but since so many other ingredients are added to the base masala it might need just a tiny pinch of salt)
  • Oil for shallow frying


    Method for omelette
    Whisk with fork or spoon all ingredients except cheese and oil in a mixing bowl and mix all ingredients well.
    In a non stick frying pan heat oil on a medium flame setting.
    Add a ladleful of the whisked egg mixture and cook for a couple of minutes on one side.
    Add a cheese single or tablespoon of cheese spread or tablespoon of mozzarella cheese on one side of the omelette and close the other end of the omelette to cover the cheese.After a minute flip the omelette to cook for another minute on the other side.
    If needed to cook more, flip again.Once all the omelettes are done shut the gas and serve hot with either bread or chapatis, tea or coffee, and with either pickle, or ketchup.
