Homemade dry bhel

Sometimes feel like binging on bhel but don't want to unhygienic stuff that we get. Wintery evenings make me feel hungry but don't want fattening stuff to snack in between meals so devised a healthy and hygienic way of snacking that has no cooking time involved at all.

  • Puffed Rice
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Nylon Sev
  • Salt
  • Milk
  • Dark Jaggery or Honey

Method

    Buy one kg plain kurmura or Puffed Rice
    Add a bit of turmeric powder just enough to get the yellowish tint.
    Add about 100gms of nylon sev to get the crunch element.
    Add a bit of salt. Not too much just a tiny amount.
    Mix all ingredients together and you get a healthy daily hygienic snack that you can munch on all times.
    I even make it into a light dinner by adding a handful of it to a small bowl of plain milk. I add a bit of dark Jaggery or honey to give it a sweet salty yummy taste.
