  • Bay leaves

  • Pepper corns
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Turmeric
  • Butter
  • Red chilli powder
  • Onions
  • Slit green chillies
  • Lemon Juice
  • Jeera
  • Coriander
  • Tomatoes
  • Garlic
  • Salt

Method

    Mandi spice-
    Coriander seeds roasted
    Cumin seeds roasted
    Pieces of cinnamon
    Green cardamons
    Black cloves
    Bay leaves
    Nutmeg
    Pepper corns
    Grind it all
    •Add Mandi spice to the meat with salt,little ginger garlic paste and turmeric.mix it well and let it marinate for 1-2 hrs.
    •Now take some butter and oil in a vessel.Fry the chopped onion.Add cardamon,cloves and cinnamon sticks and fry for a while,Now add the marinated meat and fry for sometime.Add some red chilli pwd,salt,slit green chillies and lemon juice mix well and add some water.Close the lid,cook on medium heat till the mixture starts boiling and then simmer on low heat until the meat is tender.
    •Now take out all the pieces of meat separately.Add soaked rice to the mixture,Close the lid and cook on medium heat until rice are cooked.Then add some grated carrot and mix it nicely.
    •Now place the meat pieces over the rice and give coal smoke to it.
    •Serve it with fries,roasted cashew nuts,almonds or any other dry fruit that you like.
    •For Chutney:
    Take 4-5 garlic cloves,tomatoes,green chillies,coriander leaves,jeera. Add little water and grind it
