  • Oil/Butter

  • Red Chilli Flakes
  • Onion granules
  • Pepper garlic powder
  • Oregano
  • Thyme
  • Basil
  • Italian seasoning

Method

  • Step 1
    10 mins
  • In some Oil/ butter add lots of finely chopped garlic. Add 2 tbsps of Plain flour. Whisk it together. Slowly add milk, little at a time and keep whisking, until it all combines well and turns into a creamy consistency.
  • Step 2
    5 mins
  • Then add salt, red chilli flakes, onion granules, pepper garlic powder, oregano, thyme, basil, italian seasoning (any herbs of your choice).
  • Step 3
    8 mins
  • Then tip in the spinach and cook until the spinach wilts completely. Then add in some grated cheese. Add some tomato ketchup (optional). You can add a little water, if you find the sauce very thick.
  • Step 4
    15 mins
  • In another utensil, boil adequately salted water with a little bit of oil. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook as per the packet instructions. Avoid overcooking the pasta.
  • Step 5
    5 mins
  • In the warm simmering sauce add the hot pasta. Advised to always add hot pasta to a sauce, it tends to absorb flavors better. Mix together, check for seasoning. Enjoy with garlic bread.
